There are a couple reasons why this could be happening.
Liquid is low
If your blu Tank™ or Liquidpod is out of liquid, you may get a burnt taste. Throw away the used blu Tank™ and replace it with a new one.
Liquid has settled in the wrong spot
Ideally, the liquid will settle near the threaded side of the blu Tank™. Sometimes, the liquid settles on the opposite side of the blu Tank™, which can cause a burnt taste. First, remove the blu Tank™ from the battery. Then, try one of the following:
- Place the blu Tank™ or Liquidpod flat on your palm and roll it between your hands for a few seconds, or
- Lay the blu Tank™ or Liquidpod flat on your palm and lightly tap it, or
- Simply blow sharply into the blu Tank™ or Liquidpod 3-5 times, or
- Set the blu Tank™ or Liquidpod thread side down on a flat surface for 45 minutes.
Any of these options should get the liquid closer to the threaded side of the blu Tank™ or Liquidpod and should get rid of the burnt taste. If you try each option and you still get a burnt taste, it is most likely a faulty blu Tank™ or Liquidpod and it should be discarded.
